Decide, Commit, Proceed is a Resounding Success

The Decide, Commit, Proceed Dinner was a resounding success, and all involved had an excellent evening whilst also raising awareness for the importance of Learning Disability Nurses and student support.

It was to support PCLeads, a leadership course for third year Learning Disability nurse students than spanned over a two day period. The intensive conference aimed to strengthen leadership in clinical practice, and was part of the decide, commit proceed positive choices programme. Overall, it was part of the Strengthening the Commitment effort, and below you can see some images of the event:

Helen Laverty Hosts the 10th Positive Choices Event

The brilliant Helen Laverty hosted the 10th Positive Choices Conference for Learning Disability Nurses and Professionals at Kingston University in March 2014.

At this event, the inspiring video – Down Side Up was screened, and it was a resounding success. The video, from the BiBs Inspire and Commentary categories for charity and campaigning work, is a must watch, and the blog, a must read.
